According to the party sources, the Sun with 24 rays on the flag symbolizes the energy source in the universe, which spreads light 24 hours. The sun with its 24 rays also represents the change that is looked forward to. There is yellow streak around the red sun that indicates the smiles of masses. Tthe green colour of prajarajyam flag symbolizes the greenery of agriculture while White represents the unity of all the castes.
The Praja Rajyam flag also symbolizes the 3 Main faiths: White for Christianity, Red for Hinduism and Green for Islam.
