Deccan Mujahideen, a little known group, has claimed responsibility for the terror strikes in Mumbai on Wednesday night. The identity and nature of the terror attack has left everyone including the security agencies shocked.
One of the suspected terrorists was weilding an AK-47. He was dressed in a black half T-shirt and jeans with a blue rucksack hung over his left shoulder and red sacred thread tied on his right wrist.

Mumbai is under seige of the terrorists again. In one of the most dreadful terror attacks on Indian financial capiital, Mumbai has come under night attacks as terrorists used heavy machine guns, including AK-47s, and grenades to strike at Mumbai's most high-profile places such as the ever-busy CST rail terminus, Taj Hotel at the Gateway of India and the Oberoi Trident at Nariman Point, Santa Cruz airport, Metro Adlabs, Cama and GT hospitals near CST,and Mazgaon Dockyard leaving at least 80 dead and more than 900 people injured.
The Mumbai attacks have taken a tragic toll Mumbai's top police brass; the ATS chief Hemant Karkare, Mumbai's additional commissioner of police (east) Ashok Kamte and the encounter specialist Vijay Salaskar were also killed.
According to reports, two terrorists are reportedly holed up inside the Oberoi Hotel. Firing shots were stil being heard at Oberoi and Army has entered the hotel to flush out the terrorists.

Cyclone Nisha to hit Tamil Nadu
An alert has been sounded by the metrological department in the coastal areas of Tamil Nadu as Cyclone Nisha is expected to hit between Nagapattan and Vedranyam coasts. The fear of Cyclone Nisha has forced authorities and people to move around 3,500 people to the safer place. The wind speed at the coastal areas was at 50km/hr.
The alert regarding Cyclone Nisha was sounded after heavy rains accompanied by gusty winds swept coastal parts of Tamil Nadu forcing authorities to close schools and colleges in Chennai and three other districts on Wednesday.
District Magistrates of cities like Chennai, Thanjavur, Nagapattinam, and Tiruvarur have ordered closure of schools and colleges in their respective districts.
