According to the existing procedure of eamcet counselling, the students need to bring their SSC and Intermediate certificate/memoranda of marks, education certificate from 6th to Inter, caste cetificte issued by the MRO or RDO and the income certificate. For the candidates who are not, a document certifying ten years of residence in the State has to be obtained.
The EAMCET rank holders invited for the day will first will be called to the registration counter where the students will register name, hall ticket number, rank category and time of reporting and finally put their signature on the designated form.
From there the students will move to the verification counter where a counselling officer will check all the original documents and certificates. However, the students have to go through a final certification of their documents once again. All the centres in the State follow a similar procedure. Thereafter the candidates will them move to the actual EAMCET counselling counter.
On the EAMCET counselling counter, the counseling officer will feed the rank and hall-ticket number into the computer, which displays the seats available in various courses in all the colleges. Information about the college, hostel facilities and the faculty is provided by the counselling officer.
The students will have to give five options of the courses and colleges in a form. Based on their choice, this whole information is displayed on the computer to them. The candidate has to take a final decision in consultation with a parent/guardian allowed to be present at the EAMCET allotment counter.
After the candidates give their option, the EAMCET counseling officer feeds it into they computer. The students are iven a chance to verify all the details like choice of college and course allotted before the final allotment order is cleared.
