Karnataka Common Entrance Test-2009 /K CET 2009 will be held on April 29 and 30th, 2009. KCET is conducted for admission to Medical,Engineering Technology, Dental and Indian Systems of Medicine & Homoeopathy courses in the state of Karnataka.

Syndicate Bank has announced PO/Probationary Officers vacancy in JMGS-I. The no of Posts of PO is 1300 (UR-657, SC-195, ST-97, OBC-351) and the scale of Pay is Rs.10000-18240/. The age limit is 21-30 years.
Qualifications for Syndicate bank PO: Post Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized University (at least 60% marks in aggregate) and Computer Science covering M S Word, M S Office, Excel, Access, etc., as one of the subjects at the Degree/PG level
OR
MCA with atleast 60% in aggregate
OR
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (BE./BTech) with a minimum of 60% marks in the aggregate with Computer knowledge. (Note: candidates with BE/BTech in Agriculture and Bio Technology are not eligible)
OR
Post Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognised University with atleast 60% marks in aggregate and Proficiency in Windows/MS Office, Certificate/Diploma in Computer Operations from any recognized Institute.
