Rubens Barrichello wins Italian Grand Prix

NEW DELHI: Brazilian veteran Rubens Barrichello of Brawn GP registered his 11th Grand Prix victory after winning the Italian GP ahead of the
Hamilton
current championship leader and team-mate Jenson Button.

Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen continued his good run to finish at third position after defending world champion Lewis Hamilton in his McLaren crashed with a lap to go.

Adrian Sutil, who started at second for the ever-improving Force India, finished a creditable fourth position to score second successive championship point for Vijay Mallya-owned team.

Italian Vitantonio Liuzzi on his comeback debut with Force India is out of the race after a gearbox failure. Liuzzi was driving comfortably at fourth place before the unfortunate exit at lap 23.

Red Bull’s Mark Webber crashed in the first lap itself, virtually curtailing his championship challenge for the season.
